The babysitter for my daughter found a job at a nursery.
I've very happy for her, she's a lovely girl, friendly, responsible
and hardworking ... But we have run out of babysitter and that means that today
I have not been able to go to my particular class of sewing.
For the moment, I do not think I can go back to learning
sewing with class of sewing...
But I do not want give up learn sewing!
And so last night I embarked on what I wanted to do something.
And I decided, past eleven at night, that I would do my first dressing case...
And so I decided to put some order to all utensils of sewing
that I'm accumulating zippers, buttons, ribbons ...
Now I'm crazy to buy things sewing! And I to remember that I had a fabric
with a print of buttons. And that was how I got the idea:
I would make a bag to save buttons. Here is my first dressing case:
a bag for the buttons!
To make this little bag I had need many hours ...! I had no idea
how I was going to put the wadding ... and barely remembered how sew a zipper!
I say it can not be many days without practicing
because after I forget sewing things ...
I think the fabric has found a good use, really! A fabric buttons to save buttons!
I acknowledge that my zipper was fatal ... terrible...
For to sew the zipper I have made several laps of sewing because at first
I did not like how it had been.
I think it's the zipper in the world with more laps sewing...
I do not believe it is broken!
And I like the detail here: zigzag ribbons!
Almost I forget them before sewing around the dressing case!
I have not idea of how to sew these tapes zigzag ... but I wanted specifically
sew with thread pink because I like to see the stitch rose... I made well so?
What a great my ignorance...!
My great fight was sew around the dressing case.
It was very thick with the wadding filler! I even thought that
I would break the needle! There was no way! And finally, by chance,
I had to guess the stitch to sew well the wadding with machine...
A suffering, my God...
I finish my work at half past three in the night ...
three and a half hours to make this little bag ... not bad, right?
You can laugh, yeah! But I am so proud of my first bag ...!
And I spent half an hour watching my first creation!
Anyway, I went to bed very late but satisfied, extremely satisfied with my work ...
There's nothing like being positive, right? I promise you that next week I'll do
another bag and I hope the outcome will be better ...
Kisses!

Note: I will be self-taught and I will learn sewing watching tutorials and videos online. Come on!

Learning is my lifelong pursuit and the more I read about how enamores you are of learning, the more I like your blog. Keep up the good work; the button case shows great talent and an eye for details many people lack.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your blog.

Me da q algo no he entendido (y no sé si entenderás mis dudas xD
gracias de antemano!
Hola, Sandra!

ReplyDeleteDoncs te n'has sortit molt bé!
Anna
