new set of mittens and crochet cowl

Although the days are not so cold is still winter time
and this is nice  to create warm and soft accessories.
As this new set of mittens and crochet cowl ...

The crocheted cowl was brown and it looked sad,
so I added the pink and purple to brighten a bit.
The mittens I wanted to make them different, and why not?

I have worked with 4mm crochet hook and yarn Stylcraft Special DK

As you have been able to verify this winter my blog
is full of  basketweave stitch ....
is incredible the softness and fluffiness that gives this stitch!

To make the initial part in mittens I worked one double crochet in front
and one double crochet  on behind. It is the first time I do.
The idea came to me one day I'm  thinking with the
basketweave stitch.

I am very happy with the outcome and
I am happy because that is a gift for a friend.
I hope she like it ...

Many thanks to you for visit me in
my world of wool ...
thanks for your lovely comments, thanks for your emails ....

I wish you have a nice week full of creativity and beautiful things!

kisses to you all my dear readers and followers!
